(And that's why I love reading her books.. simplest of stories, even the predictable ones - but she puts in lines like the above one and strikes a chord with the reader) The only reason I am giving it a 3 star is because - I have read all the books written by Preeti Shenoy so far and each time I have had increasing expectations from her and her books have been up to the mark except this one. So, may be, it is about me more than her book.
Overall, it is a decent read if you like simple and easy flowing love stories. If you are 'really' good at placing yourself in the shoes of the protagonist and go through what she goes through. As far as I am concerned, I had more expectations from the book.
